Automate Facebook with Claude

Ask Claude for Facebook posts and it schedules them through postqueen. Add the connector once on the web and the same tools answer on your phone.

Quick start

Add postqueen as a connector on claude.ai and Facebook scheduling is available in every chat, including the phone apps.

# Then ask:
# "Draft three Facebook posts for this

What Claude can run on Facebook

Facebook from any device

The connector belongs to your Claude account rather than a machine, so the same Facebook tools answer on the web, on the desktop and in the phone apps.

Windows that fit Facebook

Tell Claude when your followers are most active and it schedules posts into that window on Facebook, day after day, without reminders.

Community rules respected

Claude targets the exact pages you choose and keeps every submission reviewable, so you can check each one against community rules first.

Drafts until you are ready

Ask Claude for drafts only. They sit on the postqueen calendar unscheduled, so you can edit them and pick the time yourself, and nothing reaches your followers on Facebook until you do.

Three steps to a full queue

Step 1

Discover Facebook

Claude calls postqueen to list your connected pages and sees what Facebook supports, so drafts start from real capabilities, not guesses.

Step 2

Draft with Claude

Give it the brief. The agent writes Facebook-shaped posts and proposes publish times that match when your followers are around.

Step 3

Check and publish

Look over the queue on the postqueen calendar and change anything you want. postqueen publishes each post at its time, and Claude can pull the results after.

What Facebook allows

Claude reads these limits from postqueen before it composes, so a draft that would be rejected never reaches the queue.

Frequently asked questions

How does Claude connect Facebook to postqueen?

Over MCP, as a custom connector added once on claude.ai. Claude has no terminal, so there is no CLI to install: the connector carries your API key and the Facebook tools then answer in the desktop and phone apps too.

Can Claude schedule Facebook posts at exact times?

Yes. Give it exact slots or a rule like mornings at nine and it sets publish times on the posts it creates, so your followers see them at the right moment.

Will Claude publish to Facebook on its own?

Only if you ask it to. Tell it to save drafts and nothing is scheduled: the posts wait on the calendar until you set a time. Tell it to schedule, and they go out at the times you can see, which is the setup most people move to once they trust the output.

Can one brief cover Facebook and other channels too?

Yes. postqueen connects 30 channels, so Claude can turn the same brief into Facebook posts plus adapted versions for every other channel you run.

Does Claude access cost extra on postqueen?

No. The agent uses your regular API key and plan limits: unlimited posts on every plan, and channel counts from 5 on Creator up to uncapped on Ultimate.

Why did my scheduled Facebook post fail?

The usual causes are an expired Page connection, publishing permissions that disappeared when someone changed your Page role, a token invalidated by a Facebook password change, or a video past what Facebook accepts. postqueen shows the error on the post so you can fix the cause and reschedule.

Can I self-host Facebook scheduling, and is there a free trial?

Both. Every cloud plan starts with a 7-day free trial and you can cancel anytime. The open source version is free to self-host with Docker; for Facebook you create your own app in Meta's developer portal and add its credentials to your configuration.
