How to connect
- On DEV, open Settings, then Extensions, and generate an API key. Copy it right away, because DEV shows it only once.
- In PostQueen, open Add Channel, pick DEV (dev.to) and paste the key.
Settings in PostQueen
- Title
- The article title, 2 to 128 characters. Required.
- Cover image
- The image at the top of the article.
- Canonical URL
- Where the article first appeared, or another post you scheduled in PostQueen.
- Organization
- Publish under a DEV organization you have already published for.
- Tags
- Up to 4 tags from DEV’s tag list.

Good to know
- Articles go live at the scheduled time. They are never left as DEV drafts.
- DEV rejects an article whose canonical URL another article already uses.
- The organization list shows only organizations you have already published for.

Yes. Set a canonical URL, or point it at another post you scheduled in PostQueen, such as your blog post; its live URL is filled in when the article is published.
Yes, if you have already published an article for that organization. Only those organizations appear in the picker.
Yes. Add PostQueen to your AI agent through the MCP server or the CLI and ask it to schedule a Markdown article with a title, tags, a cover image and a canonical URL.
Keep it as a draft in PostQueen while you work on it. Once you schedule it, it is published on DEV at that time, because DEV drafts are not used.
