Automate Facebook with Claude Code

Queue Facebook posts from your terminal. Claude Code drives postqueen over MCP or the CLI, so scheduling happens in the session you already have open.

Quick start

Register the postqueen MCP server once and Facebook scheduling becomes a tool Claude Code can call. The plain CLI works too.

Terminal
# Add the postqueen MCP server
claude mcp add --transport http postqueen \

# Then ask in your session:
# "Queue three Facebook posts for this
# week, mornings at 9"

What Claude Code can run on Facebook

Facebook tools in your terminal

Over MCP, scheduling and analytics show up as first-class tools. Over the CLI, every command returns JSON that Claude Code can chain reliably for Facebook.

Windows that fit Facebook

Tell Claude Code when your followers are most active and it schedules posts into that window on Facebook, day after day, without reminders.

Community rules respected

Claude Code targets the exact pages you choose and keeps every submission reviewable, so you can check each one against community rules first.

Drafts until you are ready

Ask Claude Code for drafts only. They sit on the postqueen calendar unscheduled, so you can edit them and pick the time yourself, and nothing reaches your followers on Facebook until you do.

Three steps to a full queue

Step 1

Discover Facebook

Claude Code calls postqueen to list your connected pages and sees what Facebook supports, so drafts start from real capabilities, not guesses.

Step 2

Draft with Claude Code

Give it the brief. The agent writes Facebook-shaped posts and proposes publish times that match when your followers are around.

Step 3

Check and publish

Look over the queue on the postqueen calendar and change anything you want. postqueen publishes each post at its time, and Claude Code can pull the results after.

What Facebook allows

Claude Code reads these limits from postqueen before it composes, so a draft that would be rejected never reaches the queue.

Frequently asked questions

How does Claude Code connect Facebook to postqueen?

Over MCP, registered once in Claude Code's own config so the Facebook tools are there in every session. It also runs commands, so the CLI covers the same Facebook posts when you would rather script them; both use the same API key.

Can Claude Code schedule Facebook posts at exact times?

Yes. Give it exact slots or a rule like mornings at nine and it sets publish times on the posts it creates, so your followers see them at the right moment.

Will Claude Code publish to Facebook on its own?

Only if you ask it to. Tell it to save drafts and nothing is scheduled: the posts wait on the calendar until you set a time. Tell it to schedule, and they go out at the times you can see, which is the setup most people move to once they trust the output.

Can one brief cover Facebook and other channels too?

Yes. postqueen connects 30 channels, so Claude Code can turn the same brief into Facebook posts plus adapted versions for every other channel you run.

Does Claude Code access cost extra on postqueen?

No. The agent uses your regular API key and plan limits: unlimited posts on every plan, and channel counts from 5 on Creator up to uncapped on Ultimate.

Can I manage several Facebook Pages from one account?

Yes. Connect every Page you have a publishing role on and pick the destinations per post, so one draft can go to all of them with per-Page wording where it matters. Your plan's channel limit is what caps how many you connect, from 5 on Creator up to uncapped on Ultimate.

Can the AI write Facebook posts?

Yes. The assistant drafts Page updates in your tone, shortens anything that rambles and rewrites what you highlight. Nothing publishes until you schedule it, and agents like Claude Code or ChatGPT can prepare a batch through the built-in MCP server.
