What is Claude?

Claude is Anthropic's assistant, in the browser, on the desktop and on iOS and Android. It is not a terminal, so it does not run the postqueen CLI: it connects over MCP as a custom connector, and from then on drafting and scheduling are things you ask for in the same conversation as everything else.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as Claude Code?

No, and they connect differently. Claude Code is the terminal tool and can run the postqueen CLI directly. The Claude app has no shell, so it uses the MCP connector. If you want scheduling from your phone, this is the one.

Do I have to set it up again on my phone?

No. The connector belongs to your Claude account rather than to a device, so adding it once on the web is what makes the iOS and Android apps answer with the same tools.

Can it post without asking me first?

Only if you tell it to schedule. Ask for drafts and the posts wait on the postqueen calendar with no time set. Claude also asks before it calls a tool the first time, so nothing is published by surprise.

What happens if I revoke the key?

The connector stops working immediately, everywhere it was set up. Keys are managed in postqueen under Settings, then Developers, and revoking one does not touch the posts already scheduled.
