Once connected, Cursor calls PostQueen’s tools. Posts go out at the time you set, even after you close the chat.

  1. In PostQueen, open Connections, then API Keys, and copy your key. Only workspace admins can see it.
  2. Open ~/.cursor/mcp.json (all projects) or .cursor/mcp.json (one project). In the app, MCP servers live under Customize > MCPs.
  3. Add the postqueen entry from the box, save, and ask the agent to list your channels.

Good to know

  • Header form: "url": "https://api.postqueen.ai/mcp" with "headers": {"Authorization": "Bearer ${env:POSTQUEEN_API_KEY}"}; ${env:NAME} works in url and headers.
  • Prefer to sign in? Set "url" to https://api.postqueen.ai/mcp-oauth-dynamic with no headers. Cursor opens the PostQueen sign-in, which a workspace admin approves.
  • The Cursor CLI runs the same sign-in with agent mcp login postqueen.

Sign-in means PostQueen’s sign-in page approves the agent, and an API key goes in the address or a header. The upload panel lets you add files from your device in the chat. Every agent can make AI images and video through PostQueen.

The sign-in address has 20 tools and the key address 21. Only workspace admins can approve a sign-in or see the key.

    Check that the postqueen entry is in ~/.cursor/mcp.json or .cursor/mcp.json, and look under Customize > MCPs.

  • It works in one project only

    .cursor/mcp.json covers one project. Use ~/.cursor/mcp.json for all of them.

  • The Cursor CLI does not sign in

    Run agent mcp login postqueen.

  • The key is rejected

    Copy it again from Connections > API Keys. Only workspace admins see it.
