How does OpenClaw connect Nostr to postqueen?
Install the postqueen CLI where OpenClaw runs commands and export your API key. Every command returns JSON, so the agent can create, schedule and list Nostr posts reliably.
Can OpenClaw schedule Nostr posts at exact times?
Yes. Give it exact slots or a rule like mornings at nine and it sets publish times on the posts it creates, so your followers see them at the right moment.
Will OpenClaw publish to Nostr on its own?
Only if you ask it to. Tell it to save drafts and nothing is scheduled: the posts wait on the calendar until you set a time. Tell it to schedule, and they go out at the times you can see, which is the setup most people move to once they trust the output.
Can one brief cover Nostr and other channels too?
Yes. postqueen connects 30 channels, so OpenClaw can turn the same brief into Nostr posts plus adapted versions for every other channel you run.
Does OpenClaw access cost extra on postqueen?
No. The agent uses your regular API key and plan limits: unlimited posts on every plan, and channel counts from 5 on Creator up to uncapped on Ultimate.
What can postqueen publish to Nostr?
Text notes, notes with images or video linked in, and multi-part threads that clients render as a proper reply chain. You compose once, pick the time, and postqueen broadcasts the event to your relays. Nostr has no upload server of its own, so media travels as a URL and clients unfurl it inline.
Do I need an account or an API key for Nostr?
Neither exists on Nostr. There is no signup and no OAuth server to authorize against: your identity is a keypair, and every note has to carry a signature from your private key, which is why connecting Nostr looks nothing like connecting Instagram. Because signing needs that key, treat it like any other credential: plenty of people keep a separate key purely for automated posting, and self-hosting keeps it on a machine you own.
