Automate Twitch with Claude

Ask Claude for Twitch clips and updates and it schedules them through postqueen. Add the connector once on the web and the same tools answer on your phone.

Quick start

Add postqueen as a connector on claude.ai and Twitch scheduling is available in every chat, including the phone apps.

What Claude can run on Twitch

Twitch from any device

The connector belongs to your Claude account rather than a machine, so the same Twitch tools answer on the web, on the desktop and in the phone apps.

Windows that fit Twitch

Tell Claude when your followers are most active and it schedules clips into that window on Twitch, day after day, without reminders.

Native video, native timing

Video uploads travel through the same postqueen call, so Claude ships Twitch clips and updates with real media attached and the publish time already set.

Drafts until you are ready

Ask Claude for drafts only. They sit on the postqueen calendar unscheduled, so you can edit them and pick the time yourself, and nothing reaches your followers on Twitch until you do.

Three steps to a full queue

Step 1

Discover Twitch

Claude calls postqueen to list your connected channels and sees what Twitch supports, so drafts start from real capabilities, not guesses.

Step 2

Draft with Claude

Give it the brief. The agent writes Twitch-shaped clips and updates and proposes publish times that match when your followers are around.

Step 3

Check and publish

Look over the queue on the postqueen calendar and change anything you want. postqueen publishes each post at its time, and Claude can pull the results after.

What Twitch allows

Claude reads these limits from postqueen before it composes, so a draft that would be rejected never reaches the queue.

Stream title
Up to 140 characters per title
Tags
Up to 10 tags per stream, set alongside a single category
Clips
Clips run from 5 to 60 seconds, captured from a live broadcast or a VOD
Chat announcements

Frequently asked questions

How does Claude connect Twitch to postqueen?

Over MCP, as a custom connector added once on claude.ai. Claude has no terminal, so there is no CLI to install: the connector carries your API key and the Twitch tools then answer in the desktop and phone apps too.

Can Claude schedule Twitch clips at exact times?

Yes. Give it exact slots or a rule like mornings at nine and it sets publish times on the clips it creates, so your followers see them at the right moment.

Will Claude publish to Twitch on its own?

Only if you ask it to. Tell it to save drafts and nothing is scheduled: the clips wait on the calendar until you set a time. Tell it to schedule, and they go out at the times you can see, which is the setup most people move to once they trust the output.

Can one brief cover Twitch and other channels too?

Yes. postqueen connects 30 channels, so Claude can turn the same brief into Twitch clips and updates plus adapted versions for every other channel you run.

Does Claude access cost extra on postqueen?

No. The agent uses your regular API key and plan limits: unlimited posts on every plan, and channel counts from 5 on Creator up to uncapped on Ultimate.

Why did my scheduled Twitch update fail?

Usually an expired OAuth token, a missing scope, or moderator rights that were removed from the channel. Titles over 140 characters are rejected too. postqueen flags the failed item with the reason so you can reconnect and retry.

Is there a free trial for Twitch scheduling?

Yes. Every cloud plan starts with a 7-day free trial and unlimited posts, and you can cancel anytime. Self-hosting the open source version with Docker is free.
