Automate Telegram with Claude

Ask Claude for Telegram messages and it schedules them through postqueen. Add the connector once on the web and the same tools answer on your phone.

What Claude can run on Telegram

Telegram from any device

The connector belongs to your Claude account rather than a machine, so the same Telegram tools answer on the web, on the desktop and in the phone apps.

Windows that fit Telegram

Tell Claude when your channels and groups are busiest and it schedules messages into that window on Telegram, day after day, without reminders.

The right channels and groups, every time

Claude lists your connected channels and groups before it posts, so messages land exactly where they should and announcements stay consistent.

Drafts until you are ready

Ask Claude for drafts only. They sit on the postqueen calendar unscheduled, so you can edit them and pick the time yourself, and nothing reaches your subscribers on Telegram until you do.

Three steps to a full queue

Step 1

Discover Telegram

Claude calls postqueen to list your connected channels and groups and sees what Telegram supports, so drafts start from real capabilities, not guesses.

Step 2

Draft with Claude

Give it the brief. The agent writes Telegram-shaped messages and proposes publish times that match when your subscribers are around.

Step 3

Check and publish

Look over the queue on the postqueen calendar and change anything you want. postqueen publishes each post at its time, and Claude can pull the results after.

What Telegram allows

Claude reads these limits from postqueen before it composes, so a draft that would be rejected never reaches the queue.

Frequently asked questions

How does Claude connect Telegram to postqueen?

Over MCP, as a custom connector added once on claude.ai. Claude has no terminal, so there is no CLI to install: the connector carries your API key and the Telegram tools then answer in the desktop and phone apps too.

Can Claude schedule Telegram messages at exact times?

Yes. Give it exact slots or a rule like mornings at nine and it sets publish times on the messages it creates, keeping your channels and groups active on a steady rhythm.

Will Claude publish to Telegram on its own?

Only if you ask it to. Tell it to save drafts and nothing is scheduled: the messages wait on the calendar until you set a time. Tell it to schedule, and they go out at the times you can see, which is the setup most people move to once they trust the output.

Can one brief cover Telegram and other channels too?

Yes. postqueen connects 30 channels, so Claude can turn the same brief into Telegram messages plus adapted versions for every other channel you run.

Does Claude access cost extra on postqueen?

No. The agent uses your regular API key and plan limits: unlimited posts on every plan, and channel counts from 5 on Creator up to uncapped on Ultimate.

Can I cross-post Telegram content to Discord and Slack?

Yes. Write once and send the same update to your Telegram channel, Discord server and Slack workspace, with per-platform formatting tweaks before anything ships.

Is there a free trial for Telegram scheduling?

Yes. Every cloud plan starts with a 7-day free trial and unlimited posts. Self-hosting the open source version is free.
