You can delete your PostQueen account, or any data we hold about you, at any time and free of charge. This page is also our data deletion instructions page for the networks you connect through PostQueen, including Facebook, Instagram and Threads (Meta), TikTok, X and YouTube. It explains each route, what is removed and when, and the little we have to keep. It covers erasure requests under GDPR Article 17, UK GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA.

## Pick the route that fits

- **Stop using one connected account** (for example one Facebook Page or one Instagram account): delete that channel in the app. To have what we received from it erased as well, email us.
- **Remove everything**: delete your PostQueen account in the app.
- **You cannot sign in**, or you prefer to ask a person: email us.
- **Cut PostQueen off at the network**: revoke our access in that network’s own settings. To have the data we already hold erased too, delete your account or email us.

## Remove one channel

1. Sign in at [app.postqueen.ai](https://app.postqueen.ai/).
2. Open **Channels** and select the channel.
3. Choose **Delete channel** and confirm.

PostQueen stops publishing to that channel and stops reading from it at once, and the channel’s posts, scheduled and published, are removed from your workspace with it. Its stored credentials (access and refresh tokens, app passwords or keys) are replaced at once, so PostQueen can no longer use them. The channel’s profile and the statistics of its past posts stay in your workspace until you delete your account or ask us by email to erase them. Removing a channel does not revoke our access at the network itself: PostQueen does not do that for you, so remove PostQueen in the network’s settings as well if you want the network to forget it too (see below).

## Delete your account in the app

1. Sign in at [app.postqueen.ai](https://app.postqueen.ai/).
2. Open **Settings** and choose **Account**, the first item in the Account group. The direct address is [app.postqueen.ai/settings?tab=account](https://app.postqueen.ai/settings?tab=account). If you have not started a plan yet, the billing screen links to the same place under “How can I delete my account?”.
3. In the **Delete Account** box, press **Delete Account**.
4. Type the email address of your account and your current password, then confirm. If your account has no password because you sign in with an email code, use **Set password** on the same screen first (we email you a link to confirm it), or sign in again with the Google account linked to your PostQueen account, and then come back to this step.

If you own a workspace that other people belong to, the app asks you to remove them first (Settings, then Teams). You can instead make one of them an Admin and transfer ownership to them. If you are a member of someone else’s workspace, deleting your account removes you from it. The workspace and its posts stay with its owner.

When you confirm, you are signed out and your subscription is canceled, so nothing more is charged.

## Delete by email

Email [support@postqueen.ai](mailto:support@postqueen.ai?subject=Delete%20my%20account) from the address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. Say whether you want the whole account deleted or only certain data, such as one channel or everything we received from one network. If you no longer have access to that address, tell us which account it is and we will find a safe way to confirm it is yours. An authorized agent must include proof that you authorized them.

We confirm the request, carry it out within one month (within 7 days for data we received from YouTube) and send you a confirmation when it is done. The request itself is free.

## Revoke access at the network

Revoking access is a step you take in the network’s own settings; PostQueen does not call the networks to revoke it. Once revoked, the network refuses our token, so PostQueen can no longer publish or read anything for that account. It does not delete what we already hold. To have that erased, delete your account or email us.

- **Facebook Pages:** in Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations, and remove PostQueen.
- **Instagram:** in Instagram, open Settings, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites, and remove PostQueen. If you connected Instagram through a Facebook Page, remove it from Facebook’s Business integrations as well.
- **Threads:** in Threads, open Settings, then Account, then Website permissions, and remove PostQueen.
- **TikTok:** in TikTok, open Settings and privacy and remove PostQueen from the apps and services that can access your account.
- **X:** open Settings and privacy, then Security and account access, then Apps and sessions, then Connected apps, and revoke PostQueen.
- **YouTube and Google:** remove PostQueen on your Google Account’s [third-party access page](https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
- **Networks you connected with a password or API key** (Bluesky, Lemmy, Nostr, WordPress, Listmonk, DEV, Hashnode, Moltbook): delete or change that password or key where you created it.

## What is deleted, and when

When you delete your account, these happen at once:

- Sign-in is disabled and every session ends. Your name, email address, password, bio, last known IP address and browser, and any Google sign-in link are removed or replaced with one-way hashes that cannot be used to sign in or to contact you, and your profile photo is removed from your account.
- In every workspace you own, the stored credentials of each connected channel (access and refresh tokens, app passwords, keys) are replaced, so PostQueen can no longer use them, and the channel names and profile details we received from the network are replaced with one-way hashes.
- Scheduled posts are canceled and will not publish, and the workspace’s subscription is canceled.

Posts, drafts, media, comments, statistics, AI Copilot conversations and everything else in your workspace are no longer shown in PostQueen from that moment. They are then erased from our databases and file storage within 30 days, and our rolling backups replace any copy of them within the same 30 days.

## What we keep, and for how long

- **Invoices, payment records and your customer record in our Stripe account** (name, email and billing address): kept for 7 years after the end of the financial year they belong to, because the Estonian Accounting Act requires it, then deleted. Stripe also keeps its own records of your payments under its own legal duties.
- **A one-way hash of each connected social account’s ID:** kept so that the same social account cannot be used to start another free trial. It holds no name, content or token, and it is used for nothing else.
- **The card fingerprint, whether the card was prepaid, and a one-way hash of your email address, recorded when a free trial started:** kept while we offer free trials, so that the same card or email address cannot start another one. The fingerprint identifies the card without being its number, and none of this is used for anything else.
- **A record of your deletion request** and our reply, so we can show that we handled it, for up to 3 years.
- **Information needed for a legal claim** or a request from an authority that is already open, for as long as that matter requires.

Posts that already went live stay on the networks. PostQueen cannot delete them for you after your account is gone, so remove them on each network first if you want them gone. Each network is responsible for the data it holds under its own privacy policy.

## Want a copy first?

Deletion cannot be undone. Before you delete, email [support@postqueen.ai](mailto:support@postqueen.ai) and ask for a copy of your data (GDPR Article 20). We send your account details, posts and media in a common machine-readable format within one month.

More detail is in our [Privacy Policy](https://postqueen.ai/privacy-policy), which lists every category of data, why we hold it and for how long. Billing questions are covered in the [Terms of Service](https://postqueen.ai/terms-of-service).
