## How to connect

1. Open Add Channel and pick Telegram.
2. Add the bot named in the window to your channel or group, and make it an administrator.
3. Click Connect Telegram, copy the /connect code and send it in that chat.

## Good to know

- The bot must be an administrator of your channel to post there.
- Captions on photos and videos can be up to 1,024 characters, checked before scheduling. Text-only messages can run to 4,096.
- Formatting keeps bold, underline and line breaks. Italic and link formatting is dropped.

### How do I connect a Telegram channel?

Add the bot named in PostQueen’s connect window to your channel or group, make it an administrator and send the /connect code PostQueen shows in that chat.

### Can I post to private channels and groups?

Yes. Public and private channels and groups both work, as long as the bot has been added. In a channel, the bot has to be an administrator to post.

### Can I send albums?

Yes. Attach several photos or videos and they go out as albums of up to 10, with your text on the first item.

### Can my AI agent post to Telegram?

Yes. Once your chat is connected, your AI agent can schedule messages, photos or albums there through PostQueen’s MCP server or CLI, with follow-up replies.

### Does PostQueen show Telegram view counts?

No. Messages are scheduled and sent, but analytics and view counts are not shown for Telegram.
