## How to connect

1. Open Add Channel and pick Discord.
2. Sign in to Discord and choose the server for PostQueen’s bot. You need Manage Server permission there.
3. Approve the permissions the bot asks for. If a channel limits which roles can see it, let the bot’s role view it and attach files.
4. In each post, pick the channel.

- If a channel limits which roles can see it, let the bot’s role view it and attach files there.
- Forum channels can’t take scheduled messages. Pick a text or announcement channel.
- Messages can be up to 1,980 characters, with Discord markdown.

### What permissions does the PostQueen bot need?

You add the bot to a server where you have Manage Server permission. The bot asks to view channels, send messages, embed links, attach files and use threads. If a channel limits which roles can see it, give the bot’s role access there too.

### Can I post to forum channels?

No. Forum channels don’t accept normal messages, which is what PostQueen sends. Pick a text or announcement channel.

### Can one post go to several channels on the same server?

No. Each post goes to one channel per connected server. Create another post for a second channel on the same server.

### Can my AI agent schedule Discord messages?

Yes. Through PostQueen’s MCP server or CLI, your AI agent can list the channels in your connected server, pick one and schedule a message with attachments and mentions.

### Can I save a Discord post as a draft?

Yes. Save it as a draft from Create Post, or ask your AI agent to create a draft instead of scheduling it. Drafts wait on your PostQueen calendar, and length and required settings are checked only when you schedule the post.
